Say hello to Ms. Widrick, one of our 5th Grade teachers! She recently enjoyed reading Blink by Malcolm Gladwell, but a memorable book from her high school days is Holes by Louis Sachar, which she read alongside our very own Ms. McGee. Her favorite movie is The Lion King, and she loves the music of John Mayer.
In addition to teaching, Ms. Widrick is the JV girls’ basketball coach and also coaches softball. Her perfect day is spent working at CPCS with her students. While her favorite vacation spot is the beach in Delaware, she dreams of visiting France someday.
One of her greatest strengths is her ability to connect through conversation. Her students think she’s a fantastic teacher, and both her students and her dog, Zoe, bring her immense joy. She takes pride in teaching every day! quote is “Be happy”.
