Seaway Tech BOCES Juniors and Seniors: Seaway has notified us that the septic issue has not been resolved and there will be no in-person instruction at the Technical Center tomorrow (Th, 5/9). Seaway is planning a remote learning day for all Juniors and Seniors who are not out at their worksites. The Seaway teachers will notify students directly regarding this plan. Senior students who are scheduled for worksite tomorrow (Th, 5/9) should plan to report as normal. All scheduled classes at CPCS are in-person and students are expected to attend their classes for the other half of the instructional day.

"School Lunch Hero Day is held annually on the first Friday in May in honor of each person responsible for providing lunches (and food) to millions of children across America. This year, it will take place on May 3. If you look forward to tasty food and a full belly in school, you know exactly whom to thank for this. These include school nutrition professionals and even those who serve the food in cafeterias. Each person responsible for making sure good food is handed out to students is a hero, and this day was specially designed to show them some love."

On Wednesday, April 24th, our 8th-grade ladies visited Corning as part of their CHOICES program. To help young women begin to consider their career options, Corning’s CHOICES program hosts a day for local middle school girls to visit and take part in workshops and conversations about what future jobs they might one day have. Participating in mock interviews and career planning situations, the students gain exposure to numerous fields such as security, robotics, media, finance, legal, culinary services, and 3D printing.
