Dear Colton-Pierrepont Families,
I am reaching out to inform you of an incident that took place at our bus garage earlier today. During the school day, one of our buses experienced a mechanical issue while on the lift, which resulted in the bus coming off the lift. Thankfully, no injuries were sustained. At the time of the incident, no students were near the bus or bus garage, and all staff members were unharmed.
Our insurance company is collaborating with us to investigate the cause of this issue. We are dedicated to ensuring the safety and reliability of our transportation facility. Once the investigation is concluded, we will implement any necessary safety measures and structural improvements to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
Sincerely,
Jim Nee

Share your input! Our NYS Education is proposing additional graduation pathways for students. These additional pathways would still include a Regents path. Regents exams are NOT going away. Students will be required to take them this year.

We just wanted to inform you that we just had a "hold in place" in our building. A 'hold in place" is used to limit foot traffic in the hallways when privacy is needed. Today's was in order to get medical personnel into the building to assist a staff member. Everything is fine and the individual is in good hands. But we wanted to keep everyone in the loop in case your child has questions.
