Just a friendly reminder that Thursday, 3/20 is an early dismissal. AM PreK will dismiss at their regular time. All other students will be dismissed at 12:30PM. Lunch will be served. We’ve had a few cases of head lice at school. To help prevent the spread, please check your child’s hair regularly and treat as needed. If lice are found, please follow treatment guidelines. Please contact the school nurse with any questions.

There were some snow pant mix-ups on the K-2 trip to the Wild Center. We are looking for a Lands End pair of bibs, size 4/5 and we have two pairs of unclaimed snow pants (not the bib kind). Please reach out to your child's teacher if you can help us solve the case of the misplaced snow pants! 😊

The world is changing and CPCS wants to be sure our students are prepared and ready. The Portrait of a Graduate committee aims to define the skills and competencies students need to thrive in the 21st century. By collaborating with educators, parents, employers and community members, we hope to determine what competencies (skills, knowledge, and dispositions) matter most for our students. The finished Portrait of a Graduate will help CPCS align their curriculum and assessments to better prepare our students for college, careers, and life. Your insight is invaluable to us. On February 28th K-2nd went to the Wild Center, 3rd and 4th went to SUNY Potsdam for an instrument petting zoo, 5th and 6th went to Titus for snow tubing!

PreK enrollment is now open! If you know of any child in our district that will be 4 years of age on or before December 1st, please have them contact the main office to enroll their child. Our program is first come, first serve with limited space and is based upon completed enrollment forms.
