After learning about what an election is and the process, kindergarten students had to vote for their favorite cookie candidate on Election Day! They had to choose between Oreos and chocolate chip cookies!
Students signed into the polling station, went to their own booth to fill out their ballot, and placed their ballot in the ballot box. We even handed out “I Voted” stickers which they were proud to wear all day! If you know anything about stickers and little ones, they don’t usually last long!
We are excited to announce that Oreos won in a landslide of 21 to 7 votes. All voters will get to enjoy the winning cookie at snack time tomorrow!
Tomorrow is a COLTS Camp Day! Students and staff should dress in their camp colors! We have a lot of fun activities planned! It is also an early dismissal! Afternoon PreK will be attending with the morning PreK class. All students will be dismissed at 12:30PM.

All students in 10th grade attended Brookfield Renewable Energy in Colton on Thursday, 10/17. Manufacturing Day is an annual event that occurs in October, an occasion during which manufacturers across the country open their doors to showcase the potential of modern manufacturing and foster interest in manufacturing careers. Hundreds of students and their educators across the North Country region have the opportunity to learn about manufacturing and the amazing career opportunities available when they join in celebrating Manufacturing Day with tours hosted at area manufacturers. The tours allow America’s future workforce to get an inside view of modern manufacturing facilities, see how world-class products are manufactured locally, and learn about the variety of career opportunities available in manufacturing! Thank you Brookfield for inviting our Colts to see what you do!
The Class of 2029 is doing a fundraiser to help offset the cost of class activities.

Hello Folks,
It was another fine morning in the North Country. However, a pesky deer ran into one of our buses during the morning pick-up bus run. We are following our protocols for bus transport incidents. All students on the bus are fine and will be checked by the nurse upon arrival. The office staff is working on contacting the parents of the students who were on the bus (Bus 25) when this occurred.
If you have any questions, please call me at school.
Take care, Jim Nee
