High School Parents: The Seaway Valley Prevention Council's newsletters has some interesting information that could be helpful as you guide your teenager in healthy life decisions. Click to view: https://secure.smore.com/n/abjv4

We’ve had a few cases of head lice at school. To help prevent the spread, please check your child’s hair regularly and treat as needed. If lice are found, please follow treatment guidelines. Please contact the school nurse with any questions.
Children with long hair are advised to keep it pulled back tight in ponytails, braids, or buns to minimize exposure. Remind your child(ren) to avoid sharing hats, brushes, and personal hair items. For more prevention tips, visit: https://www.cdc.gov/lice/about/head-lice.html
RETURNING TO SCHOOL: Your child may return to school after he or she is treated.
Thank you for your help in keeping our school community healthy!
