Congratulations to Ariana Clark for being chosen by Coach Bogart as the CPCS Athlete of the Week! Ariana has showcased her positional flexibility by moving positions between the center-mid and the sweeper position in the defensive four. She has also been key to helping make many plays to stop scoring opportunities and create new ones for the team! She has also been serving as a captain for the varsity team.

Congratulations to Emmitt Murray for being selected by Coach McCall as one of CPCS's Athletes of the Week!
Emmitt had a great performance as goalie, earning shutouts in both games against SLC and St. Regis Falls. He made 3–4 saves against St. Regis and an impressive 7–8 saves against SLC. Way to go, Emmitt!

Congratulations to Katherine Hanifan on being selected as the CPCS Athlete of the Week by Coach Bogart! Katherine has been a key part of the girls' varsity soccer team's defense and is proudly serving as one of the team’s three captains.

Congratulations to Carter Brown for being selected by Coach McCall as the CPCS Athlete of the Week! Carter had a great game against Madrid-Waddington, scoring one goal and assisting on three others. He also led the team as captain and was named Player of the Game!
The Seaway Career & Technical Education Center is proud to recognize Mya Sevey as the recipient of the Rev. William R. & Crystal E. Cuthbert Vocational Excellence Award for September 2025, sponsored by Brookfield Renewable US. Mya is a student in the HVAC/R Program and attends Colton-Pierrepont Central School. She is the daughter of Michael and Melinda Sevey. The HVAC/R program trains students to install and maintain residential and industrial systems. Coursework includes electrical theory, wiring, troubleshooting, tool use, refrigeration basics, combustion, thermodynamics, and safety. Students can earn EPA Section 608 Certification to handle refrigerants, gain college credits through dual enrollment, and qualify for OSHA certification. Hands-on skills taught include soldering, brazing, flaring copper tubing, and wiring various components. Instructor Mr. Bryan Mott shared, “Mya is an outstanding student. She pays attention in class and can take what she has learned to the shop and do the work with ease. She also is a member of the National Technical Honor Society.” Good work Mya!
