Our 7th graders have been hard at work on their Capstone project, diving deep into environmental issues and sustainable solutions. Earlier this year, we had a special visit from Miss Shelli, who taught us how to combat "throw-away culture" by upcycling thrifted and donated clothing into new treasures.
To celebrate their hard work—and just in time for the cold weather—Miss Shelli performed an incredible act of kindness. She hand-sewed a unique pair of mittens for every single student using recycled fabric!
To make it even more fun, she organized a "White Elephant" game for the class so everyone could pick their perfect pair. It was a wonderful hands-on lesson in sustainability and a heartwarming gift for our students. Thank you, Miss Shelli, for keeping us warm and inspiring us to reuse and recycle!

It says a lot for a community when their alumni come back to serve popcorn to the elementary for the holidays! Happy Holidays from the Class of 2025!
